Vaccine Pillar Learning Agenda
COVID-19 vaccination is one of the the key interventions to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 disease and mortality.
Vaccination also remains a key approach for strategic preparedness and response planning in the WHO African Region.
The Vaccine Pillar, within the Vaccine and Preventable Diseases Programme (VPD), is supporting WHO member states in:
- COVID-19 vaccines regulation and registration
- Allocation and financing
- Supply chain and logistics
- Risk communications and infodemics
- Learning lessons and best practices
The Learning Agenda team works with all Vaccine sub-pillars, West, Central and South East Africa partners and other external partners to ensure lessons are well documented and immediately shared to improve vaccination goals.
